As I glance down through the 49ers schedule the most difficult thing beyond the divisional games which can never be taken too lightly due to the familiarity within the division, which makes every team know each other to well, and takes away from any elements of surprise.
One of the the matters that I can’t wait to see unfold is whether any of the players that have been maligned with unfavorable criticism though out their time with the 49ers and somehow survived the cut list every season since the disasters began, work out this season.
I’ve been as frustrated with Jimmie Ward not being on the field as everyone else. However my frustration stems from the fact that nobody on the roster could on the past 49ers rosters cover for J-dub, or bring the same game. There have been seasons when he was actually the best defender on the field. When Jimmie Ward was off the field it was clear that the secondary defense was always missing an important playmaker.
Since Ronbo Sports has unintentionally become the defender of the most criticized players on the 49ers roster, I’ve decided to embrace the role the site has been designated, and built the current reputation on.
If you’ve given any thought to how many talented defensive lineman the 49ers are currently carrying on that 90 man roster it’s pretty amazing when you consider how many of them really are talented. They aren’t all necessarily outstanding, but there are some that absolutely aren’t going to get beaten out either.
The initial shock of Mitch Wishnowsky being picked up by the 49ers with the 110th pick via a trade with the Cincinnati Bengals is starting to simmer down a bit within the last 24hours.
The 49ers endured some brutal lessons in the first year of pursuing the art of evaluating, and making choices of the players available in the draft. The first year "was brutal" but was it really? Maybe the jury should stay out a bit longer.
Yes it’s a "captain obvious" tittle because you usually have to win the division before you can land a playoff birth. However, have the 49ers been doing that prior to this recent regime taking over?
Have you now noticed that all the lines seem blurred compared to visions that were crystal clear very recently? Two weeks ago Kyler Murray was going to be a Cardinal. There was little doubt about it. The Cards were going to wait until draft night to seal the deal due to a possibility of Murray changing his mind about football. Also it’s just bad business to move to quickly towards getting rid of your current QB. "A bird in the hand equals 2 in the bush" is still applicable here in the 21st century.
One of the finest art forms in pro sport is lying, and plotting against other GM’s. When you look at what Bill Belichick has accomplished down through the years by utilizing the art of deception to remain a dynasty for over a decade, no matter what team you support you have to be fascinated.
The anti-Nick Bosa movement is picking up momentum with every argument that can be found to under mind Bosa’s talent.
There is this panic with 49ers fans that has me confused to the point that I question my own sanity about Jimmy Garoppolo, the now franchise quarterback that upon his arrival in 2017 brought the 49ers up from the dirt rising like a Phoenix.
The days draw near as we head towards April fools day. Analyst and experts on the dailies are suggesting the 49ers not develop any crushes or infatuations with other players in this draft not named Bosa should they have the chance to land him.
In reviewing what has taken place since the Super Bowl 2019 it all wraps into a package of amazing hasn’t it?
Remember a month or so ago when it was somewhat simple as to what the 49ers options were going to be on draft night?
In 2017 we watched a fledgling defense struggle largely due to the newness of the system, and the lack of maturity of the newly drafted players coming in with the newly acquired 49ers regime.
I get the feeling that the 2018 season is carrying too much weight regarding how the 49ers are currently being judged. In fact it’s my own personal feeling that any actions taken going forward should discount just about all of the negatives that we’re yield from the 2018 season .
In the aftermath of a drama that started over a month ago the fantasy connection to the 49ers that started with a George Kittle tweet to Antonio Brown has come to a close. Antonio Brown will be coming to the bay area, but it will be on the other side of the Bay Bridge on the east side of the Bay area.
I fall for the epic performances during "the COMBINE" every year. This year is no exception. We watch and get all worked up over drills that define athleticism and to a large part conditioning, but not necessarily football talent. Just about every potential NFL candidate at the annual event has worked out specifically for the testing that will take place at the Combine, and is ready for it.
It’s another year where they’re plenty of talented free agents that would fill needs for the 49ers, but days before time to deal, teams are locking up the exceptional talents before allowing them to just walk off.
Not a day goes by in the life of an observant 49ers fan that you don’t hear fans ongoing complaints about the lack of a no.1 receiver on the 49ers roster.
